The Central Bank of Ireland has released a statement on their website informing that CBL Insurance Europe DAC has ceased making claims payments with immediate effect.

CBL Insurance Europe DAC has carried out insurance business in Denmark.
The Danish Guarantee Fund is in dialogue with the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority to try and clarify the legal position for the Danish customers in CBL Insurance Europe DAC.

The Guarantee Fund will update with information on the legal position of Danish customers as soon as new information is available.
