The Guarantee Fund for Non-life Insurers is aware that on 26 March 2020, the Danish FSA published a decision regarding Gefion Insurance A/S.
The Financial Supervisory Authority has ordered the company to make an immediate and complete stop to take out insurances, including renewals of existing insurance policies.

The Guarantee Fund will not play a role until a non-life insurance company is declared bankrupt. The Guarantee Fund is monitoring the situation closely and will publish further information if the development so indicates.
