Alpha Insurance A/S
The insurance company Alpha Insurance A/S was declared bankrupt on 8 May 2018. Claims for compensation that were to be covered by the Danish Guarantee Fund had to be submitted to the Danish Guarantee Fund no later than six months after the bankruptcy order was issued, i.e. by 8 November 2018.
By a decree issued by the Maritime and Commercial Court in Copenhagen on 8 May 2018, Alpha Insurance A/S filed for bankruptcy. In that connection, the Court of Appeal appointed Attorney Boris Frederiksen from Kammeradvokaten/Poul Schmith as insolvency administrator.
